What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation, heightened focus and hyper suggestibility. It is in-between being wide awake and asleep. You are aware of everything being said yet you are relaxed at the same time. Many clients say they find this depth of relaxation a highly enjoyable experience.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the art of using hypnosis to elicit positive change and improvement in behaviours and physical conditions. When you are in a deep state of relaxation the hypnotherapist is able to work with the sub-conscious mind to identify and remove barriers to your success. In essence, you are getting the conscious mind 'lined up' with the subconscious mind so that you can bring about positive changes.
Why use hypnosis?
Whatever the mind agrees with, the body must respond to. It's a question of knowing what your subconscious mind secretly agrees with if you have behaviors that aren't helping you achieve your conscious wishes. Hypnosis is a wonderful tool for helping people to release and resolve issues and events in their past that are negatively affecting the present.
