An overworked English teacher spent a lot of time correcting grammatical errors in her students' written work. She wasn't sure how much impact she was having until one overly busy day when she sat at her desk rubbing her temples.

A student asked, "What's the matter, Ma'am?"

"Tense," she replied curtly, describing her emotional state.

After a slight pause the student tried again, "What was the matter? What is the matter? What will be the matter... ?"

FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE

Following the success of the October open-to-all Emotional Freedom Techniques classes, we'll be sticking with the theme "From Surviving to Thriving" for the rest of 2008. Classes will be on the second Saturday and second Sunday of each month.

You will learn how to use this awesome system of emotional acupuncture without needles to overcome the obstacles to attracting what you really want in life.

We will work with affirmations and how to get rid of those pesky doubts that crop up when we're trying to create a better environment for ourselves.

The first three people to register for any of my classes will get a free 15 minute follow-up phone session.

Second Saturday classes will be held on Saturday 8th November and 13th December. Please note that these classes are now at an earlier time and will run from 11am to 12.30pm.

They will take place at the MindBody Studio, 311 Rivermont, Lynchburg.  Please plan to arrive a few minutes early if you're new to the Studio to give time to fill in some forms.

The second Sunday classes will be held at Unity Church, 3522 Campbell Avenue, after the morning service on Sundays November 9th and December 14th at 11.15am.

All of these classes are suitable for beginners and for people who are familiar with EFT. Each class is a stand-alone session: you do not need to have attended a previous class.

The cost of each class is $19 per person, payable by check or in cash on the day.

NEW IN '09

A new series of classes for Weight Management with Emotional Freedom Techniques will be running from the middle of January.

This five week course will teach you how to use EFT for cravings, exercise motivation and much more.

Classes will run from Thursday January 15 for five consecutive Thursdays 7 to 8pm. These will be
held in my office, based in the Mindbody Studio.

This course costs $75. All attendees will receive a free Happy Tapping audio CD for home practice, worth $19.
